The brief for the evaluation of ‘up the road and round the corner’ was

1. to develop a case study through interviews with project artists, ONE TWO ONE art and architecture network, project client SARA (Southwater Area Residents Association) and representatives of the local community.

2. to evaluate the residencies, events, design workshops and networks created through the process and assess the aims and objectives against the outcomes and benefits for SARA and the community.

3. to set this within a context of comparative public art and architecture projects nationally to compare the ONE TWO ONE research methodology with other ‘more traditional’ methods.

4. to produce a report that will be a useful tool for artists, designers, architects and commissioners (community associations, local government agencies).
