The book will be launched at The Penwith Gallery in my home town of St Ives to coincide with a small exhibition of Haughton’s artworks and archival material, running 4–30 September 2026. There will be a gallery talk on Wednesday 16 September.
David Haughton: Art, Life and the Cornish Landscape explores the artistic and creative gravitational pull the West Penwith of Cornwall held for Haughton, and how his devotion to this tiny pocket of land, bordering on obsession, shaped his career as an artist.
